Generally, a suitable cctv lens should be selected according to the actual situation of the application site.  Such as a fixed focus lens or a zoom lens, a manual aperture lens or an automatic aperture lens, a standard lens or a wide-angle lens or a telephoto lens.

CS/C mount types

Wait. It should also be noted that the interface between the CCTV lens and the digital camera is whether it is a C-type interface or a CS-type interface. The threads of the C-type and CS-type lenses are 1 inch and 32 teeth, and the diameter is 1 inch. The difference is that the lens is away from the CCD target surface. The distance is different. The distance from the reference surface to the focal point of the C-type mounting base is 17.562 mm, which is one more length than the CS-type distance from the CCD target surface. The CS-type mounting distance is 12.5 mm from the focal point.

Don’t underestimate this circle. Without it, the lens and the network surveillance camera cannot focus properly, and the image becomes blurred. So before installing the lens, first see if the camera and lens are the same interface method. If not, you need to increase or decrease the connection circle according to the specific situation.

Adjustment ring

Some cameras do not use a ring, but use a rear image adjustment ring. When adjusting, use a screwdriver to loosen the screws on the adjustment ring and turn the adjustment ring. At this time, the CCD target surface will move backward (front) relative to the mounting base. The role of the ring.

When installing the lens, first remove the protective cover of the CCTV camera and the CCTV lens, and then gently rotate the lens into the lens interface of the camera and place it in place. For automatic iris lenses, the control line of the lens should also be connected to the automatic iris interface of the digital surveillance camera. For the motorized two-variable lens or three-variable lens, as long as the lens is in place, it is not necessary to correct its balance temporarily (only (It is only necessary to correct the balance after the final focus adjustment).
